Thomas Petty Enterprises
Thomas Petty Enterprises, dba of the Bay Area Search Engine Academy, Inc. was founded in 2008. Our goals are to teach business owners, entrepreneurs and employees at small firms how to effectively market on the internet. Technology has changed a lot in the last decade (Facebook and Twitter both became publicly available in 2006 and the first iPhone came out in 2007!), and the web has changed drastically right along side in that same time period.
Search engine marketing and digital marketing in general has evolved from simple to becoming much more complex. Social media has changed the way we communicate, and the options available to marketers has gotten bigger and more difficult to sift through and rise above all the noise.
We’re here to help you sort through all the systems, tools, and products, and hopefully give busy business owners and their employees a clear-cut path through the forest to generate new business, without turning into geeks.
We want you to be able to have success, no matter how novice or skilled you are. Our goals are fairly simple:
- Teach you the best way to market online in the least amount of time needed
- Use WordPress effectively for the advantage of your business
- Keep the bad guys (hackers) out of your WordPress website
Our solemn promise to you is that we will:
- Use business language that makes sense to you as a business owner, not geek-speak
- Give you the simple tools that get real results without using complicated systems
- Show what you can ignore, and what are the most important things to pay attention to, and where possible, set it and forget it
