We’re super excited to let everyone know that we’ve launched a new website, a new blog, a new newsletter and new programs. *whew*
At the Bay Area Search Engine Academy, we’ve been working hard to bring a bunch of new things to the foreground, and it’s finally here.
New Bay Area Search Engine Academy Website
The first thing was that the website needed a complete overhaul. The design was old, tired, and not mobile-friendly at all. It was, quite frankly, an embarrassment. It took a bunch of work to get it off the ground, but we got it done. It’s got a fresh, new design that has built-in mobile friendliness. Both the blog and website now match designs, and visit with you your smart device (phone or tablet) and it automatically reformats the content to fit your device.
Google has said that having mobile-friendly CSS built into a website is a factor they use to determine which sites are getting ahead on the search engine results page (SERP).
We’ve also better defined the navigation and calls to action so it makes it easier for people to navigate within the site and find what they want.
New SEO and Internet Marketing Programs
We’ve been working hard on building some new programs for people who want to learn how to market on the internet. We understand that a classroom setting isn’t necessarily the best for everyone. Maybe travel is difficult for you (or expensive – or both). Maybe you can’t afford to be away from your business or family for a lengthy time. We get it.
We’ll tell you more in upcoming blog posts, but in a nutshell here are the highlights:
Hands-on Workshop (HOW) – This is the same classroom setting where you bring your laptop and your website (or a client’s!) to learn how to market online. This includes all kinds of things like search engine optimization (SEO), paid placement (PPC), commercial blogging, article marketing, optimized press releases and a host of other tools. It’s an intense week, but you come away with a thorough grounding in online marketing. It’s ideal for those who want to hit it hard, and get all the tools out of the toolbox. The Master workshop includes six months of follow-up support too.
Quick Start Program (QSP) – People who can’t get away for a dedicated chunk of time or afford to travel can still get up to speed quickly with this virtual training and coaching program. You can be anywhere in the world, and we’ll guide you through the process to market online. You use your bank of time with our coaches any way you see fit. It’s ideal for busy people who want a more free-form way of learning, because we only focus on the things you want to focus on.
Internet Marketing Retreat – There are so many options to marketing online, that it makes it difficult to know which to put in place in a comprehensive, holistic plan that gets results. This one-day retreat is a small group, where we work with you to hone in on your ideal customers, and wrap a plan around it to attract them and convert them into paying customers. It’s ideal for those who are overwhelmed by all the choices with online marketing and need some help defining the plan.
Private Corporate Training Programs – Larger companies that need a group of people to be trained in online marketing tactics and strategies can have a private workshop. It can be customized to their needs directly or used with the existing training program. If employees need continuing education units (CEUs), the training has up to 2.0 college-level CEUs for those that pass the exam and meet the other criteria. This program is ideal for companies that need private training, and don’t want to expose sensitive marketing data to people outside their organization (yes, we’ll sign an NDA!).
Watch for more information as we post it in the blog, and if you need any information about any of the programs, please drop us a note.
Tell us in the comments below which of these programs would work best for you and why.
